North Carolina men’s basketball is in the thick of roster construction for the 2024-25 season, and the clock is ticking on Hubert Davis and his staff to fill the three open scholarships for next year. The transfer portal window closed on May 1st, so the Tar Heels are primarily aware of the options on the table, and it is now a matter of landing the right pieces as the selection continues to dwindle.
The apparent hole in North Carolina’s current roster is the frontcourt. Even after heavily pursuing a handful of targets, the Tar Heels were unable to land a marquee addition in the portal to replace Armando Bacot down low.
